He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Claude and Thelma Phipps; and his siblings, Robert Phipps, Mary Quinn, Dave Phipps, Sybil Cornett, Willie Gene Phipps, Doug Phipps and Kay Ison.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Shepherd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (496 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
