With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linville McKinley Morguson (New Tazewell, Tennessee), who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Linville McKinley leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Linville McKinley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his brother Howard Morguson; and his wife Delores Green Brown Morguson. He is survived by: his children, John Brown (Jennifer) of Pineville, KY, Brandon Brown (Karen) of New Tazwell, TN, Bill Brown (Joann) of Pineville, KY, James Brown of New Tazwell, TN and Charlotte Vaughn (Danny) of Middlesboro, KY; and his sister Mary Mattaush (DeWayne) of Willis, MI. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (1106 Nell St, Tazewell, TN 37879).
