He is survived by: his mother Meldie Helton; his wife Louise "Cookie" Rose; his daughter Monica Purtlebaugh; his granddaughter Katlynn McKenzie; and his siblings, Melanie Bryant, Sandra Helton, Ruby Gail Helton, Penny Helton and Woody Helton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
