She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Shiver Sr.; her parents, Sidney McIntosh and Bessie Tolbert; and her grandson Roy Sewell Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Steven, Michael, Terri and Martha; and her children, Sandra Sewell (Roy Sr.), John F Shiver Jr. and Christopher Shiver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers her family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Vicky's honor.
