He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Porter and Maymie Lee Widner Snodgrass; his grandparents, William Alexander and Lucy Burchfield Snodgrass; and his sister Lucille Green.
He is survived by: his sons, Robbie Snodgrass (Tanja) and Steve Snodgrass; the mother of his children Brenda Burchfield; his grandchildren, Kristen Ayers (Caleb), Kelly Brooks (Zack), Tyler Snodgrass (Adrian) and James Snodgrass (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Khloe Snodgrass, Colton Ayers, Landon Ayers, Maddilynn Ayers, Riley Ayers, Kacen Brooks, Ansleigh Brooks, Madison Snodgrass, Paxton Snodgrass and Presley Snodgrass; and his nieces, Edna Bussell and April Miller.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claiborne Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Irish Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the upkeep of the Thompson Chapel Cemetery in New Tazewell.
