We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2022, at the age of 69, James William Strawn of Newbern, Tennessee, born in Union City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond Strawn and Mae Gateley Strawn; and his sisters, Judy Graves and Lola Clanton. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Escue Strawn of Newbern, Tennessee; his son Shane Strawn of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Lucy Olivia Strawn and Joshua Pietsch.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the North Union Cemetery Fund, 78 Preacher Dowland Road, Kenton, Tennessee 38233.
