He is survived by: his wife Betty Samples; his daughter Sandra Parker; his granddaughter Tish Joyce (Jeremy); his stepson Dale Sprouse (Sheila); his brother Bobby Samples; his siblings-in-law, Mack Hayes (Sharon) and Paula Todd (Bill); his nephews, Bobby Wayne Samples (Lisa) and Brian Samples; his stepgrandchildren, Shawn, Chris Sprouse, Tiffany and Randall Sprouse; and his close friends, Larry Jenkins, Sherri Overstreet, Mark Steward, Starlette Combs, Janna Rae Combs, Mark Pratt, Sharon Ball, David Dillenger (Donna), Rick Purkey, Pat Moss and Lori Black. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
