She was predeceased by: her husband Mitchell Phillips, Sr.; her parents, Michael Parton and Lina McCarter Williams; and her brother Jesse Parton. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell "Butch", Jr. Phillips (Drucilla), Rev. Max Phillips (Sandy) and Carolyn Wiley (Buff); and her grandchildren, James Brown (Jennifer), Michael, Megan Phillips, Mickie Phillips (Dianna), Rachel Callison (Wes), Barry Phillips and Craig Phillips (Emily). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
