He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Holt and Georgia Frisby Holt; and his parents-in-law, Jesse and Nancy Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Holt; his sons, Jon Holt (Sherry) and Joey Holt (Malva); his grandchildren, Rebecca Parton (Ethan), James Holt (Bailey), Micah Holt (Autumn) and Lorryn Holt (Aaron Taylor); his great grandchildren, Tanner Parton, Weston Parton, Case Holt and Jase Holt; and his siblings, Edna Driskill and Robert Holt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church (1084 US-25E, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Dutch Bottom Baptist Church (1084 US-25E, Newport, TN 37821). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2642 US-25W #70, Dandridge, TN 37725).
