Myrtle J. Carver Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Myrtle J. Carver of Newport, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grover Leatherwood and Nora Mae Leatherwood; and her siblings, Martha Davis, Jo Ellen Purcell, Dale Leatherwood, Shirley McPhail and Junior Mac Leatherwood.

She is survived by : her husband James Carver; her children, Jamie Carver and Lisa Carver (Brent Etherton); her grandchildren, Tabbatha Ball (Randy), Ocean Carver and Billie Hall; her great grandchildren, Lance Goins of Newport, Skyler Ball of Newport, Levi Ball of Newport, Izidoria Collins of Newport and Seryna Howie of Newport; her sister Linda McCabe of Lawton, OK; and her aunt Edna Coggins of Grassy Fork. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Smoky Mountain Humane Society of Newport.
