We bid farewell to Vinita Black Coggins (Newport, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Vinita Black touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Black and Rhoda Black; her husband Creed Coggins; her children, Ferman Coggins, Debby Coggins Moore and Ronnie Coggins; her grandchildren, K. C. Moore and Sheena Coggins; and her siblings, Arlie, Ronald, Chris Black, Shirley Coggins and Barbara Webb.

She is survived by : her children, Angie Pack (Marty), Steve Coggins (Amanda) and Richard Coggins (Lisa); her grandchildren, Amy Moore (Shawn), Eric Coggins (Heather), Blake Pack (Jaclyn), Kinley Coggins, Kaelyn Coggins, Josh Shek, Jerricka Wheeler and Ryder Coggins; her sisters, Wanda Benton, Patsy Ford and Joy Brown; and also Whitley Black. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel (363 E Main St, Newport, TN 37821). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blacks Family Cemetery.
