He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Gilliland and Nancy Gilliland; and his sister Betty Collins. He is survived by: his wife Rita Gilliland; his daughters, Mandy Gilliland and Amber Manning (Taylor); his siblings, Lacy Gilliland, Ann Driskill (Jimmy) and Frances Webb (Eugene); and his grandchildren, Allie Ball, Mason Ball and Sky Hance. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Cemetery (420 Mineral St, Newport, TN 37821-3900).
