He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Jack E. Forrest; and his grandparents, Euel, Mildred Forrest, Paxton and Reba Dupree.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Forrest; his siblings, Kimberly O'Neal (Steve), Nathan Forrest, Micah Forrest and Rachel Forrest; his nephews, Stephen O'Neal and Kevin O'Neal (Erika); and his niece Marcie O'Neal. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
Memorials in memory of Edward may be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church, the Arabic Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, the building fund at Barton Creek Baptist Church in Lebanon, The Belonging Company in Nashville, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Vanderbilt Medical Center.
