He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Brassfield and Daisy Wilson Brassfield; and his brother Bill Brassfield. He is survived by : his wife Jo Ann Gilliam Brassfield; his children, Jay Brassfield (Dayna) and Valeria Brassfield; his grandchildren, Lauren Brassfield and Trey Brassfield (Becca); and his siblings, Jim Brassfield (Kay), Margaret Smith and Carolyn Rogers.
