He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Kathryn Hutcherson (Paul), John Hillis, Jr. (Keri) of Franklin and Joe Hillis (Stacia) of Hendersonville; his sister Kay Bradley (Cecil) of Inman, SC.; his grandchildren, Lawson Stewart (Ashelyn) of Gallatin, Alexis Stewart of Hendersonville, Emerson, Allie Hutcherson of Nolensville, Jaden, Cole, Lyla Hillis of Hendersonville, Khloe, Keegan and Kash Hillis of Franklin; and his great grandchild Denim Stewart of Gallatin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ (5120 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
