He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Aubrey and Willie Ruth Sandlin; his brothers, James Larry Sandlin and Donald Wayne Sandlin; his son Michael E. Sandlin; his daughter-in-law Tina M. Sandlin; his son Jason M. Sandlin; his daughter-in-law Kelly D. Sandlin; his grandchildren, Alexandra Sandlin, Meghan Sandlin, Payton Sandlin, Noleka Sandlin, Spencer Sandlin and Erin Sandlin; his great grandchild Wyatt Jameson Metler; and his son Phillip Scott Sandlin.
