He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Thurman and Alice Reese Thurman of Evansville, WI.; his wife Kathleen of Norris; his daughter Mary Thurman; his son-in-law Robert Schuler; his grandsons, Theodore and Charles Schuler of Atlanta, GA; and his sister Shelley Wold of Little Rock, AR. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.
Donations in John's memory should be made to Trout Unlimited Clinch River Chapter youth scholarship fund in support of The John Thurman Smoky Mountain Trout Adventure Camp.
