She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Alston and Ruby Alston; and her son Billy Joe Ickes. She is survived by : her husband David; her daughter Jackie Daley (Kris); her grandson Landon; her sisters, Donna Vineyard (Rick), Patty Hankins (Rick) and Jan Glover (Jack); her daughter Peggy; and her grandchildren, Addi, Kamden and Addilyn. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Peggy's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
