Susan Forbes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Forbes of Norris, Tennessee, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Roy E. Hyde and Elaine Clare Lorio Hyde; and her sister Catherine Clare Hyde Shappert. She is survived by : her former life partner Don Forbes; her husband Donovan C. Forbes of Norris; her sister Carol Jean Hyde Clark (George); her sons, David R. Forbes (Gwen) of Clinton, Steven C. Forbes (Martha) of Norris and Alan S. Forbes (Liz) of Statesboro, GA; her grandchildren, Daniel Forbes (Lisa), Rachel Bradley (Sean), Rebecca Grey (Cameron), Kathryn Blatchford (Brendan), Samuel Forbes, Joshua Forbes, Lainey Unchurch (Alan) and Anna Forbes; and her great grandchildren, Angelo, Fiora, Leo, Natali, Jio, Adeline, Sydney and Grey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and very dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations to any of Susan's favorite charities; the Betty Anne Jolly Norris Community Library, ASPCA, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
