We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 75, Erskine Wood of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Cordele, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Wood and Mattie Lou Wood (Anderson); and his brothers, Howard, Frederick Jr. and Cedric Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Mell; his sons, Myron "Tony" Wood and Steven Wood (Fatma Gobel); his grandchildren, Matthew Wood, Marcus Wood, Devyn Ward, Mahliya Wood and Cora Wood; and his great grandchild Kynseli Wood.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Valley Baptist Church (194 Hampton Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
