It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sammie Marie Allen Corbitt of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Charlotte, Tennessee, who passed away on April 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Allen and Metta Irene Hooper Allen; and her siblings, Doug Allen, Bo Allen, Donnie Allen, T. L. Allen (Tom) and Mildred Barcomb.

She is survived by: her husband Clinton Corbitt; and her children, Charles, Darlene, Debbie, Serena Gail Forsgren and Larry Corbitt (Butch). She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, her 11 great-grandchildren and her 16 great-great grandchildren.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
