She was predeceased by: her father William Clyde Pitt, Jr.; and her daughter Shawana Thaxton. She is survived by: her mother Thelma Wetmore Pitt of Greenbrier; her sons, Dwayne Thaxton (Brandy) of Greenbrier and Phillip Alred (Kelly) of Adolphus, KY; her siblings, Billy Pitt (Jennie) of Madison, TN and Penny Simpson (Greg) of Huntsville, AL; and her grandchildren, Shawna Thaxton, Katie Thaxton, Ethan Alred, Ashlyn Alred and Jaxon Mayberry.
