He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Wheat (Jeremy) and Susan Hingst Martel (Douglas); his son-in-law Phillip Pinion; his grandsons, Phillip "Chip" Pinion II (Mandy) and Charles "Chad" Pinion (Tammy); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Paige and Tryson; his brother Eric Hingst; his stepsons, Pat Patterson, Jay Patterson and Jack Patterson; and his friend Charlie.
