It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis R Gardner (Old Hickory, Tennessee), born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gardner and Edna Gardner; and his siblings, Betty Gasaway, Ilene Paswinski, Carl Gasaway and Gary Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Gardner of Old Hickory; his daughters, Jennifer Tarkington (Ward) of Old Hickory, Kristin Thomas (Ashish) of Delhi and India; his grandchildren, Hunter, Isabella, Hannah, Zander, Hope, Asha and Selah; and his brother David Gardner of Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in his honor to one of the Gardner family's favorite organizations, Raj Ministries; an organization providing quality education to impoverish and at-risk children in North India and Nepal.
