It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elise J Reynolds of Old Hickory, Tennessee, born in Byrdstown, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 97, on December 2, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Amonett and Ethel Amonett; her husband Harlan Reynolds; and her brother Oren. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Gail (Don) and Janis Mitchell (Charlie); her grandsons, Todd Metcalf, Austin Mitchell (Leslie) and Aaron Mitchell (Angela); and her great grandchildren, Liv, Zeke Mitchell, Annalise, Audrey and Abby Mitchell. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As a consequence of COVID-19, there will be a private family service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, on December 12.
In lieu of flowers, it was Elise's wish that memorial gifts be made in her honor to the Belmont University Reynolds/Mitchell Endowed Scholarship Fund, 1900 Belmont Blvd., Nashville, TN 37212.
