It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Ruth Schibig Witty (Old Hickory, Tennessee), who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Herman, Iris Schibig, Ralph and Billye Ruth Bass. She is survived by: her brother Joseph "Jay" Schibig (Melissa); her children, Morgan and Cameron Schibig; her parents, Colline Hise (Steve) and Joe Schibig; and her former husband Robert Witty. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Emily's name to a mental health facility or drug addiction facility of your choice.
