She was predeceased by: her father Willard Mervin Bunch; her stepfather Fuller "Toby" Meriwether; and her brother Arnold Matthew Bunch. She is survived by: her spouse Bob York; her children, Trey York (Jaime) and Lindsay York; her mother Edith Bunch Meriwether; her sister Janice Annette Letson; and her grandchildren, Rob, Zachar, Cora Mae York, Ryan Lynch, Ian Lynch, Jordan Simpkins, Matt Spiess, Daniel Ervin, Tyler Bratten, Jay Lasater, Timothy James (Red) and Trae Clark. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gilda's name to one of the following charities: Discover Madison, Inc. Amqui Station, Fifty Forward-Madison Station, Kings Daughters Child Development Center or the Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center in Hendersonville.
