It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Hunley of Old Hickory, Tennessee, born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carvin and Della Elizabeth Johnson Hunley; his wife Dauphine Walker Hunley; his daughter Rita Gail Hunley Carr; and his siblings, Amos Hunley (Cleo), Eva Lee Hunley, Nettie Hunley Morfield (Marion), Alma Hunley McGuire (Richard), Joyce Hunley, Doyle Hunley (Pegg), Fred Hunley (Virginia) and Ted Hunley (Elida).
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Evon Hunley Bell (Jeff) and Eloise Hunley Robinson (Wayne); his son-in-law Dean Carr; his grandchildren, April "Evonne" Carr Reynolds (Eric), Jonathan Carr, Levi Bell, Daniel Robinson (Angela), Jeremy Robinson and Felicia Robinson Blankenship; his great grandchildren, Riley Reynolds, Owen Reynolds, Sadie Robinson, Logan Robinson, Kaiden Blankenship and Tessa Blankenship; and his siblings, Wanda Hunley Duarte (Joe) and Roger Hunley (Joyce).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice.
