With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie James Steakley Sr. (Old Hickory, Tennessee), who passed away on December 4, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Hunt Steakley; his son David Brad Steakley; and his siblings, Tommy Steakley, Joanne Turner and Louise Poemroy.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Steakley (Brenda) and Jack Steakley (Anna Lisa Graham); his grandchildren, Casey Steakley (Marcia), Crystal Long (Jimmy Taylor), Blair Lund (Jonathan), Nathan Steakley (Jamie) and Brian Steakley (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Belle Long, Lilly Grace Taylor, Elizabeth Steakley, Madelyn Steakley, Bailey Steakley, Caleb Steakley and Willow Steakley.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Jack's memory to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
