He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hatcher and Georgia Porter Hatcher; his wife Ollie Jones Hatcher; his former wife Jerdie Fykes Hatcher; and his siblings, Amber Frank Hatcher, Alberta Ogburn, Jeannie Hatcher, Joe Davis Hatcher, Magedeline Weatherford and Wilbert Coleman Hatcher.
He is survived by: his children, Delia Woods, Andrew Hatcher (Betsy), James D. Hatcher, John Hatcher, Joe Hatcher (Danielle) and Jerry Hatcher (Sue); his stepchildren, Linda Faye Collins, Felicia Johnson, Alfred Jones, Clifford Jones, Travis Johnson, Rayburn Johnson, Barry Johnson (Carla), Gary Johnson (Mary) and Kenny Johnson (Zelma); his sister Evelyn Guerin; his daughters-in-law, Peggy Hatcher, Lorraine Groves and Belinda Serrano-Peavie; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Winrow, Nancy Hill (John) and Berthina Lawson (George). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
