James Reeks Carney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Reeks Carney of Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaretta Carney; and his parents, George Reeks Carney and Gilda McGinnis Carney. He is survived by: his sons, Larry Reeks Carney (Sherry) and Wade Carney; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Carney, Erin Young (Bert), Amanda Stanley (Roy) and Matthew Carney (Hayley); his great grandchildren, Nora, Flynn, Roy Jr., Jordan, Nolen and Dylan; his siblings, Pat Carney Bolin and Gary Wayne Carney (Janice); and his friend Minnie Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
