It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Latreva Sumner Gaylord of Old Hickory, Tennessee, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sumner and Erma Sumner; her husband John Gaylord; her siblings, Felton Sumner, Curtis Sumner and Latrelle Smith; and her son-in-law Al Embry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbie, Tracy Embry and LaNora Gaylord; and her sister Dohnie Patterson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
