She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Jackson McClung; her parents, Robert Dotson Pentecost and Ida Slayden Pentecost; and her son-in-law John W. Carneal. She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Harrison (Larry) and Kathy Carneal; her grandchildren, Susan Vieira (Scott) and Mark Carneal (Molly); her great grandchildren, Sam Carneal, Harrison Vieira and Sarah Beth Carneal; her sister-in-law Willie Mae McClung; and her friends, Diane Mobley and Laurie Long.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old Hickory United Methodist Church, 1216 Hadley Ave., Old Hickory, TN 37138.
