He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Louise Pewitt; his daughter Rosie Christine Pewitt; his parents, Jeff Pewitt (Erma) and Grace Halmontaller; and his sister Sarah "Sally" Fleming.
He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Pewitt Jr. (Leslie) and Michael Pewitt (Donna); his grandchildren, Trey Pewitt (Shelby), Katelyn Huckaby (Brandon), Amanda Jack (Mekiah) and Matthew Pewitt; his great grandchild Madelyn Huckaby; and his sister Shirley Scott (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mr. Pewitt's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
