It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Una Moore Jakes (Old Hickory, Tennessee), who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph B. Moore; and her siblings, Dorothy, Joseph, Billy, Gus and Marshall.
She is survived by: her husband William Bryan Jakes, Jr.; her son Bill (Rita); her grandchildren, Bryan and Georgia; her son Miller; her granddaughter Brittany (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Will and Miranda (James); and also, Kylee, Lauren and Ella-Grace.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hermitage United Methodist Church or Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary in Mount Juliet, TN.
