He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Jeanette Noe Jackson; his parents, David Monroe and Irene Marie Macey Jackson; his stepmother Mamie Jackson; his half-brothers, Henry, Hubert, Leroy and Jessie; his sister Martha Faye Davis; his half-sister Polly Deeds; and his grandsons, Richard "Michael" Freeman and Nathan Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Seiber (Steve), Jeanne Jackson (John), Melinda West (Mike), Anita Norman (Bill), Stephanie Jackson (Cody) and Katrina Andrews (Danny); his grandchildren, David Seiber, Johnathan Jackson (Amy), Michael Jackson (Trina), Jeffrey Norman (Rachel), Cody West (Jessica), Chase West and Bailey Laxton (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Brady Seiber, Ethan Jackson, Emma Rose Jackson, Clay Jackson, Andrew Gatlin Norman, Jesse Seiber, Easton Wyatt Norman, Wyatt Alan West, Beau Marshal Seiber, Layne Seiber and Blakeley Haynes; his siblings, Pat Eugene Jackson (Louise) and Helen Campbell; his grandchildren, Taylor, Shelby and Trinity Andrews; and the mother of his children Peggy Sands (Frank).
