Luther C. Papaw Lamb Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther C. Papaw Lamb of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah "Nanny" Lamb; his parents, Willis E. Lamb and Myrtle Alice Tye Lamb; his son Billy Lamb; and his grandchildren, Caleb Huddleston and Dawna Lamb.
He is survived by: his children, Ernie (Debbie Lamb) of Oliver Springs, TN, Charles (Sheryl Lamb) of Amarillo, TX, Linda (Gary Williams) of Berea, KY and Rosie (Cecil Huddleston) of Harriman, TN; his grandchildren, Andy Lamb (Mshaun), Nathan Lamb, Rikki Lamb, Matthew Lamb, Derek Lamb, Kevin Lamb (Erin), Adam Lamb (Shalane), Alex Williams (Jill), Tyger Taylor (Ben), Zach Williams and Jacob Huddleston (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Audra Lamb, Jenson Lamb, Nathan Lamb Jr., Nicholas Lamb, Michael Lamb, Winter Lamb, Hayes Lamb, Rian Lamb, Grady Lamb, Billie Mae Lamb and Matthew Taylor; and his close friend Don Leach. He is also survived by Papaw liked to brag that he had 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Over the past year plagued by the chaos caused by the Covid pandemic, Luther received special medical care from nurses Jason Robinson and Bryhana Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Church of the Nazarene.
