He was predeceased by: his parents, B. F. Collins and Nancy Gilliam Collins; and his sister-in-law Mary Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Don Collins of Oliver Springs, Larry Collins of Harriman, Danny Collins (Janet) of Kingston and Shelby Todd (Allen) of Tampa, Florida; his close friend Mary M. Patterson of Oliver Springs; his niece Teresa Buchholz of Clearwater, Florida; and his nephew Brian Collins of Melbourne, Australia..
