She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Harness; her son Roy Harness; her parents, Rev. Roy Patterson and Thelma Patterson; and her close friend Tattoo Crass.

She is survived by: her son Norris Harness; her grandchildren, Blake Harness (Jessica), Stone Harness, Gage Harness (Kayla), Krystal Harness (Jeff), Matthew Davis, Chad Vandergriff and Zoey Ward; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aria, Vada, Maddix Harness, Luke, Isaiah, Kensley Harness, Peyton Davis, Emma Harrell, Grayson Davis and Lucas Harness; her sisters, Emma Arwood (Earl), Shirley Burgess (Jerry) and Rebecca Arwood (Allen); her niece Jerri Parks; and her close friends, Ethel Morgan, Sandra Vandergriff and Anna Hollenbaugh. She is also survived by extended family members and other special friends.
