It is with great sadness that we announce the death of May Thompson of Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other O. H. Thompson; her parents, William Sexton and Pruda Sexton; and her siblings, Alfonso Sexton, Maynard Sexton, Aaron Sexton, Caffere Sexton and June Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Thompson of Oneida, Carol Thomas of Oneida, Wanda (Jerrell Reed) of Maryville and Janice Thompson (Allan Dobbs) of Oneida; her grandchildren, Steve Boring (Ginger) of Maryville, Dana Harkrader (Rob) of Maryville, Jeri Smith (Les) of Oneida, Misty Miller (Scott) of Brackenridge, PA, Rachelle Thomas of Nancy, Kaylyn Terry (Jerry) of Oneida, Jill Chaney (Richie) of Maryville and Cody Best of Oneida; and her daughters, Joal Sexton of Oneida and Jill Prus of Seymour. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
