He was predeceased by : his mother Irene Chitwood West; and his aunts and uncles, Simp, Elbert (Torch), Harold, Junior, Edward, Hobert Chitwood, Charlie Terry, Lottie Terry and Evelyn Coleman.
He is survived by : his wife Diane Foster Hodges; his aunt Barbara Chitwood; and his close friends, Chris and Freddie Wilson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home (20059 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same location. With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.
