It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wetzel J. Strunk (Oneida, Tennessee), who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wetzel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Strunk and Dorothy Spradlin Strunk. He is survived by: his wife Margarette Strunk; his brother Renn C Strunk; and his children, Wendell Strunk, Ruth Strunk and Johnathen Strunk. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
An entombment will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carson Memorial Park.
