He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stacy and Vassar Elise Whitt; his grandparents, James Vernon, Zada Mae Whitt, Felon Marcus and Nina Miller Roberts; his brother Dean; and his sister-in-law Mary Lee Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Dean Whitt; his children, Stacy Whitt (Stephanie) and Jamie Williams (David); his granddaughter Brooke Killian (Josh); his great grandchild Kylo Killian; and his brothers, Danny Whitt (Darla) and David Whitt (Frieda).
He was also employed by T.V.A. and was a long time Construction Superintendent for Long Foundation Drilling.
