She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Kay Smith; and her sister Samantha Kay Smith. She is survived by: her father J. L. Smith; her sons, Jaime Smith and Sam Wells; her sister Kendra Bandy (Joe); her sibling's children, Taylor Grace Bandy and Joseph Evan Bandy; her granddaughters, Tiffany Isabelle Smith and Kimberly Michelle Smith; her friend Michelle Patterson; her stepgrandmother Barbara Vest of Las Vegas, NV.; and also Lauryn Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Kim's name to either Chattanooga Room In The Inn, or McKamey Animal Center.
