With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lauren Theresa McCann of Ooltewah, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lauren Theresa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lauren Theresa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother JoAnne Scheub (Judy) of Ooltewah. She is survived by: her father Kenneth Scheub of Ooltewah; her husband Peter McCann; her brothers, Kenneth Richard Scheub of Phoenix and Bruce Scheub (Shauna) of Phoenix; her children, Sarah Kunzel (Peter) of Orlando, Alex Gandara-Morgan (Scott) of Dallas and Lindsay Scott (Stewart) of Knoxville; and her grandson Peter Michael McCann of Durham, NC.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Ooltewah United Methodist Church's Worship Center (6131 Relocation Way, Ooltewah, TN 37363).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
