He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cecil and Nellie Rhodes (Brown); and his brothers, Paul Riley Rhodes and Stephen Lee Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Sherrie Brown, Janet Rhodes, Brenda Taylor (Rob) and Nathan Rhodes; his stepchildren, Debbie Maddox (Don) and Rodger Copeland (Marilyn); and his sisters, Emily Higdon-Howell, Priscilla Denton (Bill) and Nell Merrell (Wayne). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
