She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Mackens and Estell Underwood Mackens. She is survived by : her husband Amos Fay Elrod; her children, Shannon Elrod (Cindy), Cynthia Elrod, Phyllis Cannon and Mary Jane Elrod; her grandchildren, Robert Cannon, Kevin Cannon, Mary Beth Jones (Ethan), Cody Elrod and Faith Cannon; and her siblings, Robert Mackens, Margie Gaither (Harold) and Shirley Mackens. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters, one great-great-granddaughter.
