She was predeceased by : her mother Myrna Bates; her sister Rosetta Stanley; her nephew David Stanley; and her brother-in-law Frankie Carrell. She is survived by : her husband Keith Norton of Parrottsville; her siblings, Donald "Lee" Bates (Dianne), Mike Hayes of Sevierville and Denise Carrell of Newport; her nieces, Megan Bates of Parrottsville, Crissy Brock (Tyler) of Jefferson City and Abby Hayes; her nephew Frankie Carrell (Jackie) of Newport; and her cousin Susan Ryder (David) of Conover, NC.
