He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cheatum Clinton Meeks and Mattie James Meeks; his daughter Rhonda Pleasant; his siblings, Opal Stubblefield, Nancy Meeks, Johnny and David Meeks; his children, Cindy McCord (Tom) and Richard Meeks (Preston); and his grandchildren, Patrick Meeks and Alexus Pleasant. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
