He is survived by : his wife Faye Stallcup; his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Brad Franklin; his grandsons, Zach (Breia Franklin) and Justin (Kristen Franklin); his great grandchildren, Bane, Ari, Auburn and Silas; his children, Jerry Townsend, Denise (Gary Quillen), Jeff (Pam Townsend), Lance (Donna Townsend) and Paisley (Jim Rohen); his grandchildren, Brandi, Laura, John, Elexis, Haley, Nate, Addie, Amelia and Annie; his great grandchildren, Bailie, Chandler, Patrick, Alex, Garret, Ethan, Neyland, Mia, Naomi, Mackenzie and Jordan; and his close friends, John Gray, Billy "Cobb" Lawson, Clinton "Skeeter" Hall, Robert Bowers and Chuck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
